Ngesikhathi seJahiliyyah, ama-Arabhu ayebophekile ukulalela ngokungenasimo umholi wesizwe owayewamelela nokuwalawula, futhi ayengavunyelwe ukungabaza imiyalo, izenzo, kanye nezenzo zalowo mholi, kungakhathaliseki ukuthi zilungile noma zinephutha. UMprofethi (ukuthula nokubusiswa kukaAllah kube phezu kwakhe) wamukela ukubonisana njengesisekelo esiyinhloko sokuphatha umbuso, futhi kuzo zonke izindaba lapho engazange athole khona umyalo ovela kuAllah, wayebonisana ngezikhathi zonke nabangane bakhe, evulela isimo kudingidwano lwabo.

Wayengabheki ukuthi umuntu ungowaluphi uhlanga, isikhundla, umsebenzi, ingcebo noma impahla phambi kobulungiswa; wayezama ukuthi iqiniso lithole indawo yalo. Njengomongameli, uMprofethi uMuhammad (ukuthula kube kuye),

Wayexazulula izingxabano ezaziphakathi kwamaMuslim emphakathini, noma phakathi kwabangemaMuslim ababengaphansi kombuso wamaMuslim. Kulezo zimo, wayelalela kokubili ummangali nommangaliwa; wayebhekisisa ubufakazi babafakazi, ahlolisise izimpawu ezazilethwa, bese exazulula indaba ngokushesha, ngaphandle kokuyibambezela, ngokuvamile ngaleso sikhathi, noma ngokushesha ngangokunokwenzeka. Wayebonisa ukuzwela okukhulu ekufundiseni abantu umqondo wobulungiswa; wayechaza ukuthi njengomuntu, wayezokhipha isinqumo ngokwezinkulumo, izimpawu, nobufakazi obabulethwa, ukuthi wayengazi okungabonakali, nokuthi lowo owanikwa ilungelo ngaphandle kokuba elilungelo ngempela, wayengathola isihogo kuphela. Ngezinye izikhathi wayedlulisela izindaba kubantu abaphambili phakathi kwabalandeli bakhe. Abaphathi ababeqashwe ezifundazweni babephethe umbuso egameni likaMprofethi (ukuthula kube phezu kwakhe) futhi babebheka izindaba ezazithinta inkantolo.


Izimfanelo okufanele zibe kumphathi:


– Ukuba nengqondo ehluzekile:

Uphawu lokuqonda okuhle ukuthi umuntu enze izenzo ezijabulisa uNkulunkulu, futhi azigweme izinto ezimbi ezizomthukuthelisa uNkulunkulu.


– Amakhono:

Ukuphatha nokulawula kudinga ikhono eliphakeme kakhulu. Abantu abangenalo ikhono akufanele bafune umsebenzi onjalo.


– Ulwazi:

Abaphathi kumele baqale bazi kahle umsebenzi abawenzayo, izifundo zenkolo, umlando, amasiko nemikhuba yomphakathi, ingqondo yomuntu ngamunye kanye nomphakathi, isayensi yomphakathi, kanye nesimo sezombangazwe, ezomnotho, zenhlalo, nezamasiko sesikhathi sabo, kanye nezigameko ezenzeka emhlabeni, futhi bakwazi ukuhlaziya konke lokhu. Njengomphathi, kumele azi kahle isimo sakhe, isimo senkolo, ezomnotho, ezomthetho, nezamasiko sezinhlangano nezikhungo aziphethe, akuhlaziye kahle, futhi athathe izinyathelo ezifanele ngesikhathi esifanele ngaphandle kokulibala.


– Ubulungiswa:

Abantu abangenabulungisa abafanelanga ukuba ngabaphathi. Ekusebenziseni ubulungisa, izinto ezinjengobuhlanga, ubuhlobo, ubutyebi, ubumpofu azinakuba nempembelelo. Kungakhathaliseki ukuthi umuntu unenkolo, uhlanga, noma isigaba sini, ilungelo lalowo olungileyo kufanele lithathwe kowonayo bese libuyiselwa kuye. Umphathi kufanele abe nobulungisa futhi asize ekusebenziseni ubulungisa, futhi akasoze avumele ukwephulwa kwalo.


– Isibindi:

Umphathi uzoba nesibindi. Akasoze asabe ukuthatha izingozi uma kudingeka. Kodwa ukuthukuthela, okungukuthi ukweqisa, akufanele kuphambaniswe nesibindi.


– Ukuqonda-Ukuqaphela:

Abaphathi kufanele babe nokuqonda nokuhlakanipha. Umuntu oyisiphukuphuku noma ongenangqondo akakwazi ukuba umphathi. Umlawuli kufanele aqonde kahle ulimi lomzimba walowo akhuluma naye. Amaqiniso amaningi angavezwa ngamazwi, noma afihlwe ngemuva kwamazwi, ayabonakala futhi aqondwe ngokubona izenzo zomzimba.


– Ubuqotho:

Ukuba abantu abangathembekile, abakhohlisi, abangathembekile kubantu, nabahlala beqamba amanga, bafikelele esikhundleni, lokho kuyinhlekelele enkulu kuleso sizwe. Ubuqotho, ukwethembeka; kusho ukuthi inhloso isenhliziyweni, izwi liyizwi emlonyeni, isenzo siyisenzo emzimbeni.


– Ukubekezela-Ukuphikelela:

Ukuphatha yisigaba esidinga ukubekezela okukhulu. Abantu abaphuthumayo nabangazinzile abakwazi ukuthwala imithwalo enzima yale misebenzi. Ukubekezela yisinqumo nokuqina. Abantu abangazinzile nabangakwazi ukubekezela abakwazi ukubambelela eqinisweni nasekulungeni.


– Ukuthethelela:

Ukuthethelela kuyisici esikhulu sokuziphatha. Ngakho-ke, abaphathi kufanele bazi ukuthethelela uma kudingeka. Ikakhulukazi ukuthethelela iphutha noma ukuthukwa okwenziwe kubo, kuyisici esikhulu nobuhle.


– Ukubonisana:

Uma abaphathi beqaphela ukubaluleka kokubonisana futhi bebonisana nabantu abafanele, izinqumo zabo, izenzo zabo kanye nokuphatha kwabo kuyoba nempumelelo enkulu.
