Mthandiwe, mzalwane wethu,
Futhi khumbulani uNkulunkulu kakhulu, ukuze niphumelele.

Kukhumbula nokukhuluma ngoNkulunkulu.
. Lokhu kungenye yezimiyalo ezicacile ezisitshelwa yi-Qur’an.
Kukhona izinhlobo ezimbili ze-dhikr:
1.
Ngolimi.
2.
Ngenhliziyo.
Ukukhumbula,
kuyisisekelo esikhulu kunazo zonke kuzo zonke izinhlangano, okuyizo
“kuyinto ebaluleke kakhulu.”
Nokho, indlela yokwenza i-dhikr iyahlukahluka ukusuka kwelinye iqemelo lamasufi kuya kwelinye.

I-Qadiriyya (Indlela ye-Qadiriyya)
Ezinye izinhlangano zikhethe ukwenza i-dhikr ngezwi eliphakeme. Lolu hlobo lwe-dhikr lubizwa ngokuthi
“ukukhumbula ngezwi eliphakeme”
kuyashiwo.
Okubalulekile ukuthi inhliziyo ikhumbule. Ulimi luyisihumushi nje.
Izinkrongo ezishiyelwa olimini kuphela, azibhekwa njengezikr, ngaphandle uma zidluliselwa enhliziyweni.
Ukukhumbula uNkulunkulu kwabalimi abasebenza emasimini, kwabasebenzi abasebenza emahhovisi, nakwabasebenzi abasebenza ezimbonini, kuyinkumbulo. I-Qur’an-i Kerim iyabatusa laba abanjalo ngale ndlela:
Abantu abangathikamezwa yizohwebo noma ukuthengisa ekukhumbuleni uNkulunkulu, nasekuqiniseni imikhuleko, nasekuphakeni izakat.
“Kukhona abantu abangakwazi ukuthikamezeka ekukhumbuleni uNkulunkulu, ekwenzeni imithandazo, nasekuphoseni izakat, noma ngabe yikuphi ukuhweba noma ukuthenga abakwenzayo.”

Abantu abanjalo,
“ngaphandle yinkangala, ngaphakathi yisiziba sobunye”
Ngabantu abanjalo. Izwe langaphandle nokuzibandakanya nalo akukuthunazi ukuthula kwabo kwangaphakathi. Baphefumulela olwandle lobunye ngaphakathi kwabo.
I-zikr, okuyisisekelo esiyinhloko sawo wonke ama-tarikat, iyenza inhliziyo ibe yisicwebe, iyinike ubuhle. Uma siqhathanisa inhliziyo nesibuko, i-zikr isusa uthuli nokungcola kuleso sibuko, iyihlambulule, iyenze icwebe. Iyenza inhliziyo ibe yisitholi esizwelayo semimoya yezikhuthazo.
