Yimiphi imisebenzi kaMikayeli (as)?
Uke wahlangana yini noMprofethi wethu (ukuthula makube kuye)?
Unganginika yini ulwazi oluningiliziwe mayelana noMikaeli?
Mthandiwe, mzalwane wethu,
UMikhail (as) ungomunye wezingelosi ezine ezinkulu. Yiyona ingelosi eyengamele izenzakalo zemvelo, abantu, izilwane, izitshalo, ukudla kanye nemvula. Igama layo lishiwo kanye kuphela eQur’an-i Kerim:
“Noma ngubani owayengumphikisi kaNkulunkulu, nezingelosi zakhe, nabaprofethi bakhe, noJibrili, noMikayeli, ngempela uNkulunkulu ungumphikisi wabo bonke abangakholwa.”
(Al-Baqarah, 2:98)
Umbuzo wokuthi kukhona yini impilo emazulwini, obanzi kakhulu kunalokho esingakucabanga, uhlala ukhathaza izingqondo zabantu abaningi.
“Izulu, yindawo yokuhlala yezingelosi, yizindiza zazo, yizindawo zokukhulekela zazo…”
Lolu hlobo lokuqonda luyayixazulula le ndaba. Yebo, amandla kaNkulunkulu, angashiyi ndawo engenazidalwa kuleli zwe elincane lethu, nakanjani akazange ayishiye ingenalutho leyo ndawo enkulu yezulu.
Izingelosi nemimoya yizakhamuzi zezulu.

• Abafundi bencwadi yendalo yonke,
• Abamemezeli bokubusa kwegunya lobukhosi,
• Bangabameleli, abaphathi bemithetho emisebenzi emihle endaweni yonke.

Umprofethi wethu (ukuthula kube phezu kwakhe) wahlangana noMikayeli (ukuthula kube phezu kwakhe) izikhathi eziningi. Njengokuhlangana kwabo eMpi yaseBadri naseMhlolweni weMiraj. (Bukhari, Maghazi: 18, Libas: 24; Muslim, Fadail: 46, 47, no. 2306; Qadi Iyad, ash-Shifa, 1:361)
Ngemva kwalesi sethulo esifushane, ake siqhubeke ngemininingwane:
Ngokwenkolelo yamaSulumane, uMikayeli ungomunye wezingelosi ezinkulu.
Igama lakhe livela kokubili eKoran (Mîkâl, Bakara 2/98) nasezihlabeni.
Kuthiwa, iqembu lamaJuda elabuza uMprofethi uMuhammad imibuzo ethile, ngemuva kokuthola izimpendulo, labuza ukuthi ubani owaletha isambulo kuye. Lapho bethola impendulo yokuthi uJibril, bathi uJibril ungumphikisi wabo, umngelosi wezinhlekelele nosizi, ngokungafani noMikayeli, umngelosi wokuthula nokubusiswa, kanye nomvikeli wabo.
Ngokwelinye iqembu lezindaba, amaJuda athi, “Wonke umprofethi unomngane ovela ezingelosini; ngubani umngane wakho ovela ezingelosini?” lapho uMthunywa kaNkulunkulu,
“Umngane wami nguJibril, futhi ungumngane wabo bonke abaprofethi abathunywe nguNkulunkulu, ngaphandle kokukhetha.”
Waphendula, kwathi amaJuda, “Ukuba umngane wakho kwakuyingelosi enye ngaphandle kwakhe, ngabe sakulalela, sakuvuma,” kwathiwa, “Yini isizathu sokungamukeli kwenu uJibril?” aphendula, “Yena uyisitha sethu.” (Taberî, I, 341; İbn Kesîr, I, 226)
Ngakho-ke, lezi zindima zalandela:
“Yithi: Noma ngubani oyiqaba kuJibril, ngempela uYena owathumela iQur’an enhliziyweni yakho ngemvume kaAllah, njengesiqondiso nanjengendaba ezinhle kubakholwayo. Noma ngubani oyiqaba kuAllah, ezingelosini zaKhe, kubaprofethi baKhe, kuJibril, kuMikail, ngempela uAllah uyiqaba kulabo abangakholwa.”
(Al-Baqarah 2:97-98)
Ngokunye ukulandisa, ngolunye usuku u-Omar waya ezindlini zokufundisa zamaJuda, efuna ukwazi imibono yabo ngoGabriyeli. Bathi: “Uyisitha sethu, ngoba unikeza uMuhammad izimfihlo zethu. Futhi ungumngelosi wendluzula, wokuqina, nowokuhlupheka, kanti uMikayeli, umngane wethu, ungumngelosi wensindiso, wemusa, nowomusa.” Ngakho u-Omar wabuza: “Laba bangelosi ababili bahlala kuphi phambi kukaNkulunkulu?” Lapho bephendula: “UGabriyeli usesandleni sokunene sikaNkulunkulu, uMikayeli usesandleni sakhe sokhohlo, futhi kukhona ubutha phakathi kwabo,” u-Omar,
“Uma kunjalo njengoba usho, abakwazi ukuba yizitha. Noma ubani oyiqeda omunye wabo, uyiqeda uNkulunkulu.”
ngokuthi, bese eshiya phakathi kwabo. Lapho efika phambi koMprofethi, wathola ukuthi i-aya engenhla yase yembuliwe. UMprofethi, owaziswa ngesambulo ngengxoxo yakhe namaJuda,
“O Ömer, iNkosi yakho ithumele ivesi elivumelana nenkulumo yakho.”

Kuthiwa uJibril noMikayil babengabathunywa phakathi kukaNkulunkulu nabaprofethi, kanti uMikayil wayeletha izambulo kuMprofethi Muhammad eminyakeni yokuqala yobuprofethi. Kuthiwa uJibril, njengoba umsebenzi wakhe oyinhloko kwakuwukuletha izambulo, wayesondelene kakhulu noMprofethi Muhammad. Kuthiwa ukuthi uJibril uqale ukukhulunywa kuvesi, kanye nokuthi wayephethe umsebenzi wezambulo, kubonisa ukuthi wayephakeme kunoMikayil. (Ibn Kesir, I, 231-232; Alusi, I, 334)
UMikayeli, kanye noJibrili, Haruti, noMaruti, ungomunye wezingelosi ezine ezibalulwe ngegama eKoran. Ukubizwa kukaJibrili noMikayeli ngamagama abo akhethekile kubonisa ukuthi bangabanye bezingelosi ezibalulekile nezinkulu phambi kukaNkulunkulu. Ngakolunye uhlangothi, lapho uMprofethi uMuhammad (ukuthula kube kuye) eqala umkhuleko ebusuku, futhi
ukukhuluma amagama kaJibril noMikail emithandazweni ayeyibeka emva kwawo wonke umthandazo
Lokhu kubonisa izinga eliphakeme lezingelosi phambi kukaNkulunkulu (Musned, VI, 61, 156; Muslim, Salat, 200; Ibn Majah, Iqamat, 180).
Izingelosi zinemisebenzi ehlukahlukene. Phakathi kwazo, uMikayeli unomsebenzi wokunikeza izidalwa, okuhlanganisa abantu, izinto zokuziphilisa, ngakho-ke unomsebenzi wokunisa izulu nokukhulisa izitshalo. (Mecmeu’z-zevaid, 8/241-242, no: 13902; bk Mahmûd Muhammed es-Sübkî, Menhel, V, 178)
Kunezingelosi ezithile ezishiwo ezindimeni ezine zeQur’an, ezaziyobika ku-Ibrahim ukuthi u-Isaka, indodana yakhe, no-Yakubu, umzukulu wakhe, bazozalwa, bese zivakashela u-Lut, zabhubhisa isizwe sakhe esase siphilela ukuziphatha okubi. Kuthiwa ukuthi “abahlukanisi” (mukassimât) uNkulunkulu afunga ngabo (Zâriyât 51/4) yizingelosi eziyala izindaba zakhe, njengoJibril, Mikael, Israfil, no-Azrael, abahlukanisa futhi basabalalisa imisebenzi yakhe. (Kurtubî, XVII, 21; Elmalılı, VI, 4527)

Kulandiswa futhi ukuthi ngosuku lwe-Uhud, uJibril noMikail babemi ngakwesokudla nangakwesobunxele seRasulullah, begqoke izingubo ezimhlophe, bamvikela ngamandla abo onke. (Muslim, Fezail, 46-47)
Kulandiswa ukuthi uMphrofethi uMuhammad (ukuthula kube kuye) wathi kwelinye lamaHadith akhe:
“Umprofethi ngamunye unamaphini amabili avela ezulwini namaphini amabili avela emhlabeni. Amaphini ami avela ezulwini nguJibril noMikayil, kanti amaphini ami avela emhlabeni ngu-Abu Bakr no-Omar.”

Umthunywa kaNkulunkulu;
– ephusheni lakhe, uJibril noMikail babonakala kuye njengabantu ababili abamzungezisa epharadisi nasesihogweni (Musned, V, 15; Bukhari, Janaiz, 90; Badu’l-khalq, 7),
– kwelinye iphupho lakhe, wabona omunye wabo emi ngasekhanda lakhe, omunye emi ngasezinyaweni zakhe, bemtshela isaga (Tirmizî, Emsâl, 1)
kubikwa ukuthi uke walibona.
