Ukucabanga ngale ndlela, ngokwenkolo yamaSulumane, kuwukuhlambalaza. Ngoba lolu cabango lufanekisa ukusola uNkulunkulu, owazi konke futhi onamandla phezu kwakho konke, ngobuthakathaka nokungazi.

Njengoba kuphawulwe emavesini, umlilo uyawuhlanganisa wonke umhlaba wesihogo. Akukho ndawo kuleli gqubu lapho umuntu angavikeleka khona emlilweni, akukho ndawo lapho umlilo ungafinyeleli khona. Umuntu ongakholwa uhlala ebhekene nomlilo ngaso sonke isikhathi sokuphila kwakhe, ngisho ngenkathi ehlushwa ngezinye izinhlupheko zomzimba nezingokomoya.

Yini le nto enzima uNkulunkulu ayifunayo kuwe njengomvuzo wezulu, wena uyayigwema ukuyinikela? Ingabe le nto ayifunayo inzima kangaka? Ukuthandaza izikhathi ezinhlanu ngosuku, ukunikela ngengxenye yezingcebo zakho uma ucebile, ukuhamba uhambo lweHajj kanye kuphela empilweni yakho, ingabe lezi zinto zinzima?


• O wena mphefumulo wami,

Ngiyazibuza, yikuphi ukudla okumnandi emhlabeni ongavuma ukudla isihlahla esinobuthi nokusela amanzi abilayo ngenxa yaso? Yikuphi ukuzijabulisa ongavuma ukushiswa emlilweni nokuboshwa ngamaketanga ngenxa yaso? Kulo mhlaba omfushane, yikuphi ukuzijabulisa ongavuma ukushiswa emlilweni ngenxa yaso?


• Ngakho-ke, wena mphefumulo wami,

Ingabe ukungakwazi ukungena ePharadesi akukudabukisi nakancane? I-Qur’an isitshela ngezinye izingxoxo phakathi kwabantu basePharadesi nabantu baseJahannam. Yebo, uNkulunkulu ngezinye izikhathi uyasusa umkhakha, bese abantu basePharadesi nabantu baseJahannam bayabonana futhi bakhulume. Ingabe ungakwazi ukucabanga ukuthi ubuhlungu bokubuka iPharadesi usuka eJahannam bunjani?

• Ukushiswa esihogweni noma ukungakwazi ukungena ezulwini… Kodwa akukho yini okubuhlungu kakhulu kunalokhu? Ingabe ukungabongi kwakho kuNkulunkulu owakudalayo wabe wakuphila kulo mhlaba njengomntwana omnene akukukhathazi? Uzothini kuNkulunkulu ngosuku lokwahlulela?

Ngisho noma ngingakubuzi ngesihogo, kodwa ngikubuze ngendlela yokuthi, uzokwazi kanjani ukubekezelela ithuna? Ngisho noma ngingakubuzi ngesijeziso sethuna, kodwa ngikubuze ngalokhu: Uma uNkulunkulu engasivusa ethuneni, ngaphandle kwesijeziso, ngaphandle kokuthi izindonga zethuna zivaleke phezu kwethu, ngaphandle kokuthi izingelosi uMunkar noNakir zibuze, ngaphandle kwezinye izijeziso nezinkinga zethuna; ngicela ucabange, uma singavuswa ethuneni bese siyashiywa kanjalo, uzokwazi kanjani ukubekezelela lobo bunye, lobo bumnyama, nalobo bukhulu obuncane? Ungakwazi yini ukubekezelela indlu yezimpisi, indlu yobuhlungu, nendawo yobunye? Ngisho lokhu kuphela akwanele yini njengesijeziso?


O wena mphefumulo wami,

Wena ongakwazi ukubekezela ebumnyameni bethuna, wena okhathazekayo uma ucabanga ngalo, uzokwazi kanjani ukubekezela ehlazweni lesihogo? Isibindi sakho sivela ekuqomeni kwakho; sivela ekungacabangi ngakufa nangesihogo. Kodwa yazi ukuthi ukuvala amehlo akho ngeke kukugcine kuleli zwe. Ngolunye usuku bazothi, “Hamba phandle.” Woza, ngaphambi kokuba izwe lithi kuwe, “Hamba phandle,” yithi wena kulo, “Hamba phandle,” likhiphe enhliziyweni yakho, ukhululeke!


O wena mphefumulo wami,

Manje ngizokushiya nezindima ezithile zeQur’an. Bheka, yini enye iQur’an eyishoyo ngeJahannam. Lalela, yini eyishoyo…

Uma unenhlanhla yokuthola isiqondiso, uzothola isabelo sakho kulezi ndima ezingcwele, futhi ngethemba ukuthi uzophenduka:


• Ngokuqinisekile, labo abaphika izimpawu zethu, siyobafaka emlilweni. Njalo lapho izikhumba zabo zishiswa, siyobanika izikhumba ezintsha ukuze bazwe ubuhlungu. Ngokuqinisekile, uAllah unamandla futhi unokuhlakanipha.

• Abantu baseNgeheni bayakubiza abantu basezulwini, bathi: “Sipheni amanzi, noma sipheni okuthile kulokho uNkulunkulu aninike khona.” Abantu basezulwini bayakuthi: “UNkulunkulu ukwenqabele lokhu kokubili kubantu abangakholwa.” Labo abenza inkolo yabo yaba yinto yokuzijabulisa nokudlala, nokuphila kwabo kuleli zwe kwabakhohlisa. Njengoba babekhohlwa ukuthi bayakuhlangana nalo lolu suku, njengoba babeziphika izimpawu zethu, nathi siyabakhohlwa namuhla.

• Ngemuva kwalokho kukhona isihogo, lapho ayophuziswa khona amanzi anobovu. Uyowaphuza kancane kancane, kodwa ngeke akwazi ukuwaginqiza. Ukufa kuyomfikela kuyo yonke indawo, kodwa ngeke afe. Ngemuva kwalokho kuyolandela isijeziso esinzima.

• Lapho umlilo wezulu ubonakala kubo usuka kude, bayozwa ukubhuza kwawo nokuduma kwawo. Lapho bephonswa endaweni yawo encane, izandla zabo ziboshwe entanyeni yabo, bayofisa ukufa khona lapho. Kuyothiwa kubo: “Namuhla anifisi ukufa kanye kuphela, kodwa fisa ukufa kaningi!” Yithi: “Yikuphi okungcono, lokhu noma izulu laphakade elathenjiswa abantu abesaba uNkulunkulu?”

• Ngokuphathelene nalabo abaphikayo, isihogo siyoba yindawo yabo. Akukho ukwahlulela okuyokwenziwa ukuba bafe, futhi akukho ukuncishiswa kwesijeziso sabo. Ngakho-ke, siyabajezisa bonke abangabongi. Bayokhalela khona, bathi: “O Nkosi yethu! Siphumele, senze izenzo ezilungileyo ezingaphezu kwalezo esazenzayo.” Kuyothiwa kubo: “Asinikanga yini isikhathi esanele sokucabanga? Futhi umyalezo wethu wawungafikanga yini kini? Ngakho-ke, yizwani isijeziso. Akukho muntu oyosiza abenzi bobubi.”

• Ngalolo suku, izitha zikaNkulunkulu zizobuthwa ndawonye ukuze zishiswe ngomlilo wezulu. Lapho zifika khona, izindlebe zazo, amehlo azo, nezikhumba zazo zizofakaza ngazo ngalokho ezakwenzayo. Zizothi ezikhumbeni zazo: “Kungani nifakaza ngathi?” Izikhumba zazo zizothi: “UNkulunkulu owenza ukuba zonke izinto zikhulume, nguye owenza ukuba sikhulume, nguye owanidalayo okokuqala, futhi nina nimbuyela kuye.” Nani naniqapheli ukuthi izindlebe zenu, amehlo enu, nezikhumba zenu zizofakaza ngani, ngakho naniqapheli ukwenza okubi. Naniqapheli ukuthi uNkulunkulu wayengazi okuningi ngalokho enikwenzayo. Ngaso sonke isikhathi lapho kuphonswa khona iqembu, abalindi bayo bayobabuza: “Kanti akuzange kufike kini umprofethi owanixwayisa?” Bayothi: “Yebo, wafika kithi umxwayisi; kodwa samphika. Sathi kubo: ‘UNkulunkulu akazange athumele lutho, nina nisesiphambekweni esikhulu.’ Futhi bayothi: ‘Ukuba besilalele noma besicabanga, besingeke sibe phakathi kwabantu balolu mlilo oluvuthayo!’”

O wena mphefumulo wami, nanku uke wazwa futhi waqonda ezinye izindima zeQur’an, wabona ukuthi isihogo siyini…

Uqondile yini manje, noma usaqhubeka nokuhlubuka kuNkulunkulu wakho?


Ya Rabbi! Siyakubalekela kuwe, sisuka esijezisweni sakho, sithandazela intethelelo yakho, sisuka entukutheleni yakho, sithandazela ukwamukeleka kwakho. Akekho omunye umkhululi ngaphandle kwakho, akekho omunye esingaphephela kuye ngaphandle kwakho.

Ukuze uthole ulwazi olwengeziwe, chofoza lapha:


– Ingabe kukhona yini ukuhlushwa okubandayo eSihogweni; yiziphi izinhlobo zokuhlushwa ezizoba khona?


– Ungakwazi yini ukusitshela ngamabanga, izicabha zepharaiso nasesihogweni?
