Mthandiwe, mzalwane wethu,
U-Azrael (Aleyhisselam) ungomunye wezingelosi ezine ezinkulu. Uphakathi kwezingelosi ezine ezithwala i-Arş-ı Âla, eyaziwa ngokuthi i-Hamele-i Arş. Izingelosi ziyizithunywa zikaNkulunkulu, azizenzi izinto ngokuzithandela, azisebenzi ngaphandle kwemiyalo, zisebenza ngaphansi kwemiyalo, zenza umsebenzi uNkulunkulu azinike wona.
I-Quran, lapho ikhuluma ngezingelosi, ithi azikaze zihlubuke kuNkulunkulu, futhi zenza ngokushesha lokho ezikuyalelwe.(1)
Lapho echaza u-Azrael, wathi: “
Ingelosi yokufa eyabelwe wena izokuthatha umphefumulo wakho, bese ubuyiselwa eNkosini yakho.
Uchaza umsebenzi ka-Azrael ngendlela ethi “(2)”. Uma sibheka leli vesi, u-Azrael wenza kuphela umsebenzi awunikwe wona. Usebenzela uNkulunkulu, wenza izinto egameni laKhe.
Kungaba nezingxabano mayelana nokuthi zifana kangakanani izimo, noma ukuthi isibonelo sifaneleka kangakanani, kodwa uma kudingeka isibonelo, amaphoyisa asebenza egameni likahulumeni, enza ngokuvumelana negunya elinikwe wona nguhulumeni nangemithetho. Uma amaphoyisa engasivumeli ukungena ezindaweni ezithile, singawathola yini amaphoyisa enecala?
Esenzakalweni senhlalo, ngokuphazima kweso, ubutha wonke umuntu, abanecala nabangenacala, abaholele endaweni ethile. Ngemuva kwalokho, ukhulula abangenacala, ababophele abanecala. Ngenxa yokuthi akazenzeli yena, kodwa umane ufeza umyalo awutholile, akekho omphikisayo, wonke umuntu ulinda umphumela.
Uma singakwazi ukulwa namabutho ezokuphepha, ukusola amaphoyisa, ukuzama ukuwabonisa njengamabi nokubadicilela phansi; ngendlela efanayo, asinalo nhlobo ilungelo lokubonisa u-Azrael njengomubi, ukumveza njengomubi, ukumsolisa ngomsebenzi wakhe, njengoba enza umsebenzi wakhe awuthola kuNkulunkulu njengengelosi.
U-Azrael (u-Aleyhisselam) uyisizathu nje sokufa. Ukubulala nokuvusa yizenzo zikaNkulunkulu uMninimandla onke. Leliqiniso liyachazwa kanje kule hadith:
U-Azrael (AS) wathi ku-Allah, ”
Uthe, “Ngenxa yomsebenzi wami wokuthatha imiphefumulo, izinceku zakho zizongikhalela, zizongicasukela.” U-Allah naye wathi ngolimi lobuhlakani Bakhe: “Ngizoshiya isithiyo sezinhlekelele nezifo phakathi kwakho nezinceku Zami, ukuze izikhalo zazo zibhekiswe kuzo, zingakucasukeli.”

Ngokufanayo, u-Azrael (AS) naye uyisivikelo. Ukuze izikhalazo ezingalungile zabantu abangakwazi ukubona ubuso obuyiqiniso bokufa zingafiki kuNkulunkulu. Ngoba akubona bonke abantu abangabona ubuso bokufa obuhle, obunomusa. Bangase bacabange ukufa njengokungathi yize, njengokungathi akukho. Ngakho-ke, njengoba uNkulunkulu ebeka izifo nezinhlupho phakathi kokufa no-Azrael (AS), u-Azrael (AS) naye uyisivikelo phakathi kokufa noNkulunkulu ukuze izikhalazo ezingalungile zabantu zingafiki kuNkulunkulu. Kodwa njengoba sishilo, u-Azrael (AS) kanye nezinye izinhlupho nezifo zihlala njengezizathu kuphela. (4)
Ukuzonda nokuthuka u-Azrael (u-Aleyhisselam) ngomsebenzi wakhe kuqukethe izingozi ezinkulu ngokwenkolo futhi akufaneleki kumuntu okholwayo. Njengoba ukungakholwa ngisho nasezintweni ezincane zokholo kungamshiya umuntu enkolweni, ukungamthandi, ukumzonda, nokumthuka u-Azrael (u-Aleyhisselam), uNkulunkulu ammise njengembangela yokufa, nakho kuyamenza umuntu abe ngumoni. Ngokufanayo, u-Israfel (u-Aleyhisselam) nguye ozoshaya isigodlo sokuqala ekupheleni komhlaba, okuyisikhathi sokuvuka kwabafileyo. Kodwa ukushaya lesi sigodlo kungumsebenzi nje, isizathu sokuqala kokuvuka kwabafileyo. Ngakho, ukusola u-Israfel (u-Aleyhisselam) ngalokhu, ngokuthi “kungani uqeda umhlaba?”, kuyiphutha elikhulu. Ngoba ekugcineni, isenzo sikaNkulunkulu. U-Israfel (u-Aleyhisselam) umane nje uyisizathu.
U-Azrael (Aleyhisselam) unomthwalo wokulondoloza umphefumulo wethu, okuyinto yethu eyigugu kakhulu. Njengoba kubalulekile ukulondoloza izinto zethu eziyigugu, umsebenzi ka-Azrael (Aleyhisselam) ubaluleke kakhulu kunalokho.
Lapho echaza le ndaba eShuâlar, uBediüzzaman uthi:
“
Ngolunye usuku, ngesikhathi ngithandaza, ngathi, ‘O Nkosi! Ngiyakuncenga ngobuhlonipho nangenxa yokuncenga kukaJibril, Mikael, Israfil, Azrael, ngivikele ezintweni ezimbi zama-jinn nabantu!’ Ngesikhathi ngiphimisela igama lika-Azrael, elithusa futhi elishaqisayo, ngazizwa ngendlela emnandi, eduduzayo, nethandekayo. Ngathi, ‘Alhamdulillah,’ ngase ngiqala ukumthanda ngempela u-Azrael.
Ngoba impahla eyigugu kakhulu umuntu ayithandayo futhi ayithanda kakhulu yimpela umphefumulo wakhe. Ngazizwa ngijabule kakhulu ngokuthi umphefumulo wami ulethelwe ezandleni ezinamandla nezithembekile ukuze uvikwe ekulahlekeni, ekonakaleni nasekuzulazuleni.
”
Ngakho-ke, umphefumulo wethu, esingenakukwazi ukuwubeka kunoma ngubani, esingavumi ukuwunikela, nesiqhubeka siwukhathalele njalo, asinakukwazi ukuwunikela komunye ngaphandle kwesithunywa sikaNkulunkulu esithembekile nesinokwethenjelwa kakhulu, njengengelosi u-Azrael.
Akukho nencazelo noma inani lamazwi anjengokuthi “udlule u-Azrael” noma “umkhubekisile u-Azrael” ngoba abantu abangafanga ngoba isikhathi sabo sokufa singakafiki, isikhathi sabo sokufa singakapheli. Lawa mazwi ayiphutha kakhulu futhi awadingekile.
Akukaze kwenzeke, futhi akusoze kwenzeka, ukuthi u-Azrael eze abuye emuva, ahambe ngaphandle kokwenza umsebenzi abelwe wona.
Noma kubaprofethi, abasondelene kakhulu noNkulunkulu futhi abayizithunywa zikaNkulunkulu, ayikho into enjalo.
Umprofethi wethu wayesebusuku bakhe bokugcina. Ngaleso sikhathi, u-Jibril (Gabriel) wafika no-Azrail (Angel of Death). Wababuza ngesimo sakhe. Ngase ethi:
“Ingelosi yokufa icela imvume yakho yokungena,” esho.
Lapho uMprofethi evuma, u-Azrael wangena, wahlala phambi kweNkosi yethu.
“O Mthunywa kaNkulunkulu!” wathi, “UNkulunkulu uSomandla ungiyalele ukuba ngilalele yonke imiyalo yakho. Uma uthanda, ngizothatha umphefumulo wakho, uma uthanda, ngizowushiya kuwe.”
Umprofethi wethu wabuka uMprofethi uJibril. Naye wathi:
Wathi: “O Mthunywa kaNkulunkulu, iMelei Âlâ ikulindile.”
Ngakho-ke, uMphrofethi wathi:
Wathi, “O Azrael, woza wenze umsebenzi wakho,” wabe esenikela umphefumulo wakhe. (5)
Ngakho-ke, uma u-Azrael esethole umsebenzi wakhe, akabuyeli emuva, ngisho noma umuntu ophambi kwakhe enguMprofethi wethu, umuntu othandwa kakhulu futhi ophelele kakhulu nguNkulunkulu. Kanti uNkulunkulu uMninimandla onke wayeshiyele isinqumo kuMprofethi wethu.
Uma kwenzeka ukuthi abaprofethi abakaze bakwenza lokhu, kungenzeka yini ukuthi omunye umuntu akwenze?
Ngokwamazwi e-vesi, “
Uma isikhathi sabo sokufa sifika, abakwazi ukusihlehlisa ngisho umzuzwana, noma ukusisondeza.

Ngoba ukufa akuyona into eyenzeka ngengozi, akuyona into eyenzeka ngokuzenzakalelayo. Isikhathi sakho, isikhathi sokufa, siqondiswa nguNkulunkulu.
Ngoba nguye owanikeza ukuphila, nguye futhi ozokunikeza ukufa. Elinye igama lakhe ngu “Hayy”, umnini-kuphila. Elinye igama lakhe ngu “Mümît”, umdali-kufa.
Kuze kube yimanje, akekho umuntu okwazile ukubalekela ukufa, ukugwema ukufa, noma ukunqoba ukufa; wonke umuntu ubonakala kulelo qiniso elikhulu lapho umphefumulo wakhe usuphelelwe umoya emhlabeni.
Futhi ukufa akukhona ukungabikho, ubuze, noma ukunyamalala, ngakho akukho sizathu sokukwesaba noma ukukushiyeka…
Ngaphezu kwakho konke, ukufa akusona isehlakalo esibi, esibi kakhulu, esesabekayo nesisolisayo.
Ukufa kuyindlela yokudlula, ukudlula kusukela empilweni yenyama kuya empilweni yaphakade…
Kuyinto umphemelezi okufanele wonke umuntu ofisa ukuphila phakade awuvule.
Kuyinto ekhona ngaphakathi kumuntu ngamunye, okuyisifiso sobuntwana sokungaphelelwa yisikhathi, ubungunaphakade kanye nokungafi.
Kodwa ukufa kwenzeka nini, kuphi, futhi umuntu uba neminyaka emingaki? Akekho owaziyo ngalokhu. Akekho owanikwa lolu lwazi. Isenzakalo sifihlwe ngulowo owadala ukufa.
Ngoba ukufa kuyiqiniso esingahlangana nalo nganoma yisiphi isikhathi, nganoma yibuphi ubudala, nganoma yibuphi ubuso, nganoma yisiphi isikhathi. Eqinisweni, kuyiqiniso elikhulu nelicacile kunokuphila.
Cahit Sıtkı’nın dediği gibi,
“Ngubani owaziyo, kuphi, kanjani, iminyaka emingaki?”
“Uyakuba nembuso wemthandazo owodwa,”
“Njengoba isihlalo sobukhosi sisebenza njengomthombo wamandla.”
Necip Fazıl naye uthi:
“Ukufa yinto enhle, yiyo leyo ndaba esemva kwesikrini…”
“Kanti uMphrofethi wayezofa yini ukube wayengemuhle?”
Ukufa akukhona ukushabalala, ukungabi nalutho, ukulahleka, ukuphela nokuphelelwa. Akukhona ukuhlukana okungaphinde kubuyelwe, ukuhamba nokushiya ngaphandle kokuhlangana noma ukubonana. Kumuntu okholwa ngempilo yangemva kokufa, ukufa kuwukufika ezweni elisha, elihlanzekile, elingunaphakade nelaphakade.
“Ngalowo mzuzu, amakhethani ayaphakama, amakhethani ayashona,
“Ubuhlakani busekuvumeni ukuthi ‘Uyemukelwa’ ku-Azrail.”
