Kufanele sibe namuphi umbono ngomhlaba?

Mthandiwe, mzalwane wethu,

Ngokungangabazeki, lokhu kushiwo ngomqondo wenhliziyo, hhayi ngomqondo wokuthola inzuzo.(1) Umuntu, njengoba enezinto ezimbili, umzimba nomphefumulo, akufanele abe yisigqila sezinto ezibonakalayo. Ngoba izinto ezibonakalayo zingasebenza kuphela njengenceku yomphefumulo. Umuntu kufanele azuze imali, kodwa ayibeke esikhwameni, hhayi enhliziyweni yakhe, futhi asebenzise leyo mali ukukhonza u-Islam. Ngokufanisa kukaMevlana,

Umhlaba unamandla okudonsa. Labo abangakwazi ukukhululeka kule mandla, abakwazi ukukhuphukela esibhakabhakeni seqiniso. Bayawa phansi, baminze ebumnyameni, baphilele izinto zokuzijabulisa. Kanti umhlaba uyinsimu yezwe elizayo (3), yindawo yokuhweba ehambayo, yindlu yezihambi (4).

Abantu bakwaKarun, owayezinikele enjabulweni nengcebeni yezwe, bamkhumbuza lokhu:

Mayelana nokuphathelene nengxenye yakho emhlabeni, uHamdi Yazır uthi:

“Abanye, uma befuna ukukuqonda, bathi lokhu kusho umhlaba wethu wamanje. Isabelo sethu emhlabeni wangempela, ngendlela efanele, yinzuzo esiyithola ngemisebenzi yethu yokuphila ngemva kokufa. Ngoba isabelo sethu emhlabeni, ekugcineni, yingubo yokufa.” (7)

Umbono wabanye abasufi wokushiya umhlaba ngomqondo wokuthi yindawo yokulima isivuno sakusasa, umbono wabo siqu. Akuyona imfundiso eyisisekelo yobufi. (8) Ubuhlakani obukhulu kukhona ekuboneni umhlaba njengensimu yezulu, ukuyilima nokuyivuna, nokubona izinto ezikhona njengezibuko zamagama kaNkulunkulu, nokuzibuka ngothando.

Umhlaba esiphila kuwo, ngakolunye uhlangothi (9), ngakolunye uhlangothi, uMevlana uyayichaza le ndlela yomhlaba ngale ndlela:

Kodwa leso sitolo nokuthenga akuna nzuzo ngaphandle kokuchitha isikhathi. Lapho kufika ubusuku, umfana ovula isitolo ubuyela ekhaya elambile. Lo mhlaba nawo ufana nenkundla yokudlala yezingane. Ukufika kobusuku kufana nokufa.”(10)

Ngakolunye uhlangothi, umhlaba uyisaga nokulala, njengoba isaga sisho.(11)

Izikhundla, ingcebo, kanye nezinye izinto ezisemhlabeni azinamanani ngoba ziyadlula. Lezi zinto ziba nenjongo kuphela uma zisetshenziselwa indlela kaNkulunkulu. Uma kungenjalo, azihluke ngalutho ezikhundleni nengcebo ephusheni.

UMevlana ukufanisa nalokhu. Lapho izithelo zivuthwa, leli bhande liyaxega, futhi isithelo asikutholi kunzima ukuzihlukanisa nesihlahla. Ngempela, abantu abaphelele abazange bakwesabe ukushiya umhlaba, ngisho bakuthanda. Ngemva kokuphila okunzima, uMprofethi uYusuf (as), owayengu-Aziz waseGibhithe, wacela ukuzihlukanisa nesihlahla somhlaba ngalo mthandazo:

Kufanele babe ngabantu abakhululekile ekubeni yiziboshwa zezwe. Njengoba isikhundla nesithunzi kukhula, kanjalo nokukhanga kwezwe. Ngokunjalo, kuba nzima ukukhululeka ekubusweni kwalo. Lesi senzakalo sikubonisa kahle lokhu.

Omunye wababusi wathi kothile wabantu abakhulu abangokomoya,

kusho. Lowo muntu ongokomoya,

kusho. Inkosi yabuza ngokumangala,

lapho ebuzwa, umholi wezomoya waphendula wathi:

Leli zwe lokuphila liyimali-mboleko enikezwe ukuba sizuze injabulo yaphakade. Amahora angamashumi amabili nane ngosuku ayigugu kakhulu kunegolide.
