Imiphefumulo ehlukana nemizimba yayo ngokufa, iye emhlabeni we-barzakh; yamukelwa yizingelosi kanye nabantu abangcwatshwe lapho ngaphambili.

Ngempela, kukhona amahadith athi umphefumulo womuntu okholwayo, ngemva kokufa kwakhe, uyonyuselwa ezulwini, wamukelwe ngabantu abanomusa, futhi uyobuzwa ngomhlaba nangabantu abakuwo:


“Lapho umuntu okholwayo esefikelwa isikhathi sokufa, izingelosi zomusa ziza ngezingubo zikasilika ezimhlophe, zibhekise umphefumulo womuntu okholwayo, zithi:


‘Yiya, wena uyamukeleka eNkosini yakho, naye uyamukeleka kuwe, ngakho-ke phakama uye emseni nasezindaweni zokuhlala zeNkosi yakho, engakuthukuthelelanga.’
